On Water

Reservoirs, ponds, and managed water bodies can become productive energy surfaces. MegaWAVE deploys on floating supports, generating power without requiring additional land.

01 · Support

The floating support system for managed water.

On-water deployment requires stability, access, and serviceability. SOLAR WAVES uses floating tanks that support the MegaWAVE, position it on the water, and provide maintenance access around the array.

Floating support system
On water

Floating support system

Floating tanks carry the MegaWAVE onto the water and can double as service walkways, allowing the system to be positioned and maintained with practical access built in.

02 · Features

Generation from water surfaces already under management.

No land required

No land required

Solar generation can be added to reservoirs, ponds, and industrial water bodies without competing for land.

Cooler operating conditions

Cooler operating conditions

The water environment can help moderate panel temperature, while covered surface area may reduce evaporation.

Floating access built in

Floating access built in

The support system is designed with maintenance access in mind, so service pathways are part of the floating structure.

Water assets become energy assets

Water assets become energy assets

Managed water bodies gain an additional role: producing electricity while supporting broader water-efficiency goals.

03 · The constant

The same MegaWAVE. The same repeatable deployment sequence.

Across deployment types, each MegaWAVE follows the same sequence: manufactured, delivered, positioned, unfolded, connected, and commissioned. This repeatable sequence supports utility-scale rollout planning across multiple sites and infrastructure types. The support system changes with the site. The MegaWAVE stays repeatable.

  1. 01

    Delivered

Factory-assembled, pre-wired, and prepared for transport.

  2. 02

    Positioned

Set onto the support system selected for the site.

  3. 03

    Unfolded

The wave structure opens into its full generating span.

  4. 04

    Connected

Electrical connection and commissioning complete the deployment.
